OUR VISION & HISTORY

Helping the Return to Israel

Since its founding in 1995, Ezra International has helped more than 70,000 Jewish people from around the world return to Israel, their biblical and historical homeland.  We work in Russia, Ukraine, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, and South America to assist Jewish families and individuals as they make aliyah—the return to Israel. 

Ezra International’s representatives offer their expertise, advice, and help to research and document Jewish ancestry, a requirement for any Jewish person wanting to make aliyah.  We cover the fees for international passports and an Israeli visa.  Ezra International also pays transportation expenses and overnight lodging during trips to the Israeli consulate for visa interviews. 

When it is time to depart for Israel, we arrange for transportation to the airport—sometimes a lengthy trip by car, bus, or train.  In some cases, when the Jewish Agency is unable to pay for the cost of a flight to Israel, we provide airplane tickets to Israel.  Additionally, we provide special financial assistance to pay off debts and other obligations so those we help can make aliyah.

Partnering with the Church

Ezra International partners with churches worldwide to proclaim God’s faithfulness as He brings the Jewish people home to Israel.  The story of their return belongs to God, and He prophesied that the Gentiles would play a part in this modern-day Exodus of the Jewish people:  “This is what the Sovereign LORD says: ‘See, I will beckon to the Gentiles, I will lift up my banner to the peoples; they will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders’” (Isaiah 49:22).   

God’s plan is that we as Christians respond to His word, assisting in the restoration of the Jewish people while we come to a greater knowledge of Him.  Ezra International is committed to fulfilling the calling He has for us as He honors the promises He made to the Jewish people.
