Your generous financial support is needed to keep these

The level of poverty in the former Soviet Union is very high and one of the most vulnerable groups is the elderly. Pensions are very low and barely cover basic living costs. Many pensioners have health issues and are often spending more than 50% of their meager pensions on medication.
One wonderful project, supported by Ezra International, is taking place in the city of Omsk, Siberia. Church members are involved in a feeding program reaching out particularly to elderly Jewish people. The synagogue in Omsk is very active and about 120 people visit the synagogue each day – for a variety of reasons but mainly for fellowship and for practical help. Six days out of seven, every week members of the local Pentecostal church prepare a hot lunchtime meal, delivering it to the Synagogue and serve the elderly Jewish people. This "love in action" is a great blessing to the poor and needy – but also helps enormously to bring down some of the traditional barriers between Jews and Christians.
