Anti-Semitism Is Sweeping Across Europe, Now At 1939 – 1945 Levels – Jewish Lives Are At Great Risk We must act now to save as many as possible! It is becoming increasingly unsafe for Jews to remain in the former Soviet Union countries due to the rise of severe Anti-Semitism. Following an Ezra International sponsored concert last October in Kiev, Ukraine the Ezra staff, the attending Jewish community and the Israeli dignitaries were all shocked to see the scene that awaited them out on the street. As far as one could see in all directions there were riot police dressed in full riot gear.  Each one was dressed in black, wearing their black helmets, holding their Plexiglas shields in front of them, carrying their automatic weapons and their night sticks. Their vast numbers could be seen up and down the city street and even spilling over onto the intersecting side street . Continued here

 

Western Europe Is Opening Its’ Doors to Ezra

With so much of the world in economic turmoil, Iran wanting to wipe Israel off the map, North Korea threatening the world and particularly the United States with nuclear weapons, the swine flu pandemic, the rise of anti-Semitism on a global scale and so much more, it would be so easy to become unfocused concerning what God is doing in these last days with Israel and the Jewish people.

The surest way to lose any ball game is to take your eyes off the ball. The surest way to lose any war is to take your eyes off the enemy. And the surest way to miss out on what God is doing is to take your eyes off of Him and focus on the things of the world. Nothing would please Satan any more than to have the Body of Christ become unfocused concerning the aliyah, (the return of the Jewish people to Israel).  Time is quickly running out concerning the relative ease we have of helping the Jews leave from the former Soviet Union countries. The doors are beginning to close and time is short.

We are so thankful that Western Europe is becoming more and more focused on these end-time events taking place with the Jewish people. Several countries of Europe are opening their doors to the work and ministry of Ezra International. Pat Frame, the recently appointed European Director for Ezra is doing a wonderful job introducing Ezra International to several countries of Western Europe. Churches in Scotland, Ireland, England, Holland, Wales and other countries want to know more about how they can become involved in the aliyah.

Barry Wagner, Vice President of Ezra International, will be traveling to the Island of Cyprus in late July and early August to take the message of aliyah to several churches on the Island. In October Barry will be traveling throughout Holland on a twelve day speaking tour. Last fall he spent time in Scotland and England meeting with home groups and church leaders who are standing with and blessing Israel.  Europe is coming alive to Israel, the Jewish people and the aliyah. 

So while most of the world is focused on economics, politics, wars and rumors of wars, may we, the Body of Christ, remain focused on what God is doing?  May we stay alert and may we stay engaged in the great task He has called us to, “Helping His Chosen People return to their homeland?” 

 

The Body of Christ – "A Wakening Giant"

What a special blessing it is to see first hand the awakening of the Church, "The Body of Christ," to the things of Israel and the Jewish people.  Due to over fifteen hundred years of the church's teaching of "Replacement Theology" much of the church had accepted this erroneous teaching that God had rejected the Jewish people because of their unbelief and He had broken His covenant with Israel - He turned His back on them. This theory also teaches that God has replaced his affections and His blessings for the Jewish people with the church.  Such spiritual arrogance!

It is my firm believe that the teachings of Replacement Theology helped set the atmosphere for the Spanish Inquisition, the Crusades, the Russian pogroms and the Holocaust. After all, if God has rejected His people and He has broken His covenant with them why not rid the world of them?  I must tell you this. If God has broken His covenant with the Jewish people, if He has turned His back on them, I don't need Him!  I say that with all reverence. But if God is a god that does not keep his promises and His covenants then He cannot be trusted and He is a liar. Continued here

 

The Creation of the State of Israel

The Palestinian Mandate was a piece of the defeated Turkish Empire. The British promised to make the Mandate a homeland for the Jewish people.  But in 1922 Winston Churchill gave 80% of Palestine to the Arabs.  Jordan would be the Palestinian state if that were all the Arabs wanted. But they don’t. In 1948 the United Nations divided the 20% that was remaining of the Mandate into two parts, one for the Arabs, and the other for the Jews.

Sixty percent of Israel was arid desert. The Jewish settlers went to work.  The Jewish people made the desert bloom just as the Bible said it would, “The desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose.”  Isaiah 35:1b. This was done by the funding of the United Nations with billions of U.S. and Israeli dollars for economic development. The Arabs could have done the same thing. Instead their money went into their leaders’ Swiss bank accounts and for funding of ethnic hatred and terrorism. 

If the Arabs had been willing to accept an arrangement in which they were being offered 90% of the original Palestinian Mandate there would be no Middle East conflict today. But they weren’t willing then and they are not willing now!

The creation of the State of Israel meant for the first time in over 2000 years the Jewish people had a state of their own that would protect them. But one sixth of one percent of the Middle East for the Jews was too much for the Arabs, so, the conflict goes on.
