Time is the Enemy

Anti-Jewish slogans and graffiti are now common throughout the former Soviet states. Public billboards calling for Russia to be cleansed of the Jews are seen in many cities. People have been beaten in their own apartments and some have even been killed for just being a Jew.

The greatest enemy is time. It is only a matter of time before the doors for immigration slam shut leaving these precious people's lives hanging in the balance. There is no time to waste. We must get them out now while we can!

Will you help us?

Mission Opportunities – With the Fisherman

In April 2007 members of House of David Ministries in Fairland Oklahoma took part in a short term mission opportunity with Ezra International in Kiev, Ukraine:

We had the privilege of accompanying the Ezra "fishermen" as they visited with clients that were in the process of making Aliyah, return to the homeland of Israel. Ezra is working in different countries of the former Soviet Union where it is known that there are still many Jews who want to leave for Israel. The most common problem they have is lack of documents to prove their Jewishness. Most Jewish people living in the countries of the former Soviet Union cannot afford the high costs involved in preparing documents for their foreign passports. Costs are as high as two months' salary. Helping Them Return To Israel Ezra assists in the first steps of this complicated and costly Immigration process: Visas and passports for each person; Food and clothing for those waiting for final clearance and transport; Transportation to the departure point; Coordination with transport services to Israel; and Networking with settlement services in Israel.
