Time is the Enemy

Anti-Jewish slogans and graffiti are now common throughout the former Soviet states. Public billboards calling for Russia to be cleansed of the Jews are seen in many cities. People have been beaten in their own apartments and some have even been killed for just being a Jew.

The greatest enemy is time. It is only a matter of time before the doors for immigration slam shut leaving these precious people's lives hanging in the balance. There is no time to waste. We must get them out now while we can!

Will you help us?

During the week of August 1st through August 10th Barry Wagner, Vice President of Ezra International, along with his wife Linda were extremely blessed to have the opportunity to speak in eight different churches and fellowships on the beautiful island of Cyprus. Cyprus is situated in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea just off the western coast of Israel.

Barry and Linda will long remember their experiences there as they shared the message of the end-time event of the return of the Jewish people to their “Promised Land,” Israel.  It was as if someone had gone before them to prepare the hearts and the spirits of the people they spoke to concerning this “Final Return” of the Jewish people. That is exactly what happened. The Holy Spirit of God had gone before them.

Without exception, every church and fellowship was filled with people who loves Israel, and the Jewish people and they wanted to be involved in helping the Jewish people return home.

One such church was the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in the city of Lemesos. Pastor Sophocles Christodoulou, his lovely wife Andrea and their congregation gave the Wagners and their team an exceptionally warm welcome. It was an evening of worship, praise, Hebraic dance, ministry of the Word of God and a time of wonderful fellowship following the service which gave Barry and Linda a great opportunity to make many new friends who share the same heart for the Jewish people as they do.

Barry has always said, “no matter where we travel in the world it always feels like we are meeting family when they have a deep love in their heart for the Jewish people and the land of Israel.” “That is always the common denominator that brings us instantly together.”

Following Barry’s message to the Body of Christ, the congregation presented Ezra International with a very nice love offering to be used to assist several more of God’ Chosen People to make their aliyah, (immigration) to Israel. Pastor Christodoulou told Barry that God has so richly blessed his church ever since they became involved in standing with and blessing Israel and the Jewish people. He said that Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you and those who curse you I will curse,” is being fulfilled in their fellowship on an on-going bases. God is so faithful to keep His Word!
